Born Mackay, based NY, Jacobsen has opened for everyone from Norah Jones to Cyndi Lauper. Recently released her third record Here In My Heart in the US.
“I’m not sure if it is to the souls of the people who came before me – the Irving Berlins, Carole Kings – but I feel innately connected to the Brill Building. It’s no coincidence that I live a block away from that building, where so much creative energy existed for decades.
